Hi, I am Bethany Wilson.

Mama to Asher, Selah, and Curren. Wife to Chris A.K.A cutest husband ever. I am a story teller, seeker of moments, and recorder of life.

My journey as a Photographer began in Africa. I spent my early years as a missionary kid growing up in Kenya and traveling has been in my blood every since. During a return visit to Kenya I became more aware of the depth of poverty so many people lived in. I was determined to find a way to translate the hard truths I was witnessing to people back home. When a friend put a camera in my hand I discovered not only a tool which transcends language and culture, but a medium to create and express myself artistically. Eventually, I attended both The Savannah College of Art and Design and The Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA.

As a Fine Art Photographer I focus on capturing emotions and creating a story through a collective set of photographic images. I use natural light to capture lifestyle, beauty and loving expression in an elegant and relaxed composition. Whether I am photographing the Masai on the African savanna or a wedding in the California red woods, I put every bit of my heart into each image. 

As a wife and mama to three adorable kids, I understand how important it is to document the various seasons of your life. As a creative, I want to do it with style.
